Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tahomai mobile application and website at tahomai.app (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Robots & Gizmos Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of the service

Tahomai is an AI-powered life coaching application. The Service connects to health and fitness data from third-party devices and apps you authorize and uses that data to provide personalized coaching insights through an AI coach named Tahoma.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tahomai. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at hello@tahomai.app.

Connected third-party services

When you connect a third-party service:

• You authorize Tahomai to access data from that service on your behalf
• You remain subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policy
• Tahomai is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services
• You can revoke access at any time through that service's settings or the Tahomai app

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Share your account credentials with any third party
• Use the Service to generate coaching advice for anyone other than yourself

AI coaching — important limitations

AI-generated coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. Recommendations may not be accurate for your specific situation. You use coaching recommendations at your own risk. Tahomai does not guarantee specific outcomes.

Intellectual property

The Tahomai name, logo, and all content created by Robots & Gizmos Inc. are owned by the Company and protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Your personal data remains yours. You grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Beta and early access

During early access, the Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. The Service may contain bugs or incomplete features, and we may modify or discontinue features without notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

ROBOTS & GIZMOS INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting hello@tahomai.app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in Washington State courts.

Changes to these terms

When we update these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification.
